Mais abaixo segue-se uma listagem das principais substâncias carcinogénicas que a civilização nos trouxe, conforme listadas no 11th Report on Carcinogens, Eleventh Edition; U.S. Department of Health and Human Services, Public Health Service, National Toxicology Program. A título de exemplo, a substância carcinogénica de que o vídeo acima fala é adietanolamina (DEA), um composto químico orgânico também designado por bis(hidroxietil)amina, dietilolamina, hidroxidietilamina, diolamina, e 2,2′-iminodiethanol. De acordo com a Wikipedia, a DEA e suas variantes químicas são ingredientes usuais em cosméticos e champoos, que se utilizam para "criar uma textura cremosa e acção espumante". Em face dos nossos estilos de vida e desta listagem, não lhe ocorre, por um momento, que estamos a criar dezenas ou centenas de razões, todos os dias, para o cancro estar a aumentar a olhos vistos?
